- Bring up Zephyr/Linux for custom SOC on virtual platform, FPGA and ASIC bring up boards.
- Developing drivers and HAL on Zephyr/Linux for custom SOC IP blocks.
- Algorithmic bugs, resource exhaustion, stack and heap corruptions, SW and HW watchdogs, HW misconfiguration.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of SW debugging methods and apply them judiciously to quickly resolve stability issues.
- Methods include code inspection and instrumentation, SW log analysis, SW tracing, JTAG/T32
- Deep understanding of OS internals scheduler, cache/memory handling, interrupt processing, MMU/SMMU, IPCs, virtualization/hypervisor etc.

- Raspberry Pi interface with SOC board through SPI slave bridge and developing test cases to read/write IP registers to validate the functional specifications.
- Pre-silicon validation: Virtual platform, FPGA, emulator, simulator.
- Post silicon validation:
- writing test code (in C) to exercise the drivers and underlying hardware.
- Test plan preparation, Test case code development for functional feature validation of SOC IPs.
